Who we are
Lumiplay is a brand of Lumi Play Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16956288. We are a small, early stage business planning an indoor play centre in East Hampshire. Lumi Play Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here.
For anything about your data, email stuart@lumiplay.co.uk.
What we collect
When you join the founder list we collect your email address and the answers you choose to give: your town or postcode area, how you heard about us, the number and ages of your children, how often you visit indoor play, what a visit typically costs, what puts you off current venues, what membership price feels like good value, whether you would like to be a Founding Family, any ideas you share, and your consent to hear from us. Only your email address and consent are required. If you reply to our emails, we keep those replies too.
We do not ask for your children's names, and please do not include them.
Why we use it
- To send you updates about Lumiplay, including early access and Founding Family news.
- To understand what local families want, so we can design the venue, the cafe and our pricing around it. We look at answers in aggregate when we describe demand to others, without naming you.
Our legal basis
We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to the address above, and we will stop contacting you.
Who handles it for us
We never sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing. A small number of service providers handle the data on our behalf, only to run this list:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the form. Netlify is based in the United States, so your answers may be stored there, with the safeguards UK data protection law requires for international transfers.
- Zoho, which provides our email, from its European data centres.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while Lumiplay is being planned and built, and for as long as you want to hear from us. If you unsubscribe, we remove you from our list. If Lumiplay does not go ahead, we will delete the list.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Just email us and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
